Best Practice Award granted at PEGNet Conference 2013

For the fifth time the Best Practice Award was granted at the PEGNet Conference 2013 to a project that has achieved effective interaction between research and practice. This year the collaboration between ETH Zurich (Switzerland); the Federal Institute of Aquatic Science (EAWAG), (Switzerland); Makerere University, (Uganda) and NGO SSWARS, (Uganda) won the award for the 'The "U-ACT" project in Kampala, Uganda: Putting research into practice: Implementing innovative economic and social interventions to improve sanitation access in urban slums '. Congratulations!
