PEGNet Best Practice Award 2018

For the tenth time, the Best Practice Award was granted at the PEGNet Conference 2018 to a project that has achieved effective cooperation between development research and practice. The collaboration between University of California San Diego, the University of Virginia and the state Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) in India won the award for the project: 'Building State Capacity: Evidence from Biometric Smartcards in India'. Congratulations to the winners Karthik Muralidharan (University of California San Diego), Paul Niehaus (University of California San Diego) and Sandip Sukhtankar (University of Virginia)!
