Thanks to all participants and contributors!

This year’s PEGNet conference on "Addressing fragility and conflict in developing countries" took place on 1-2 September 2022 in Kampala, Uganda. Fragility and conflict are a significant challenge to development and constrain efforts to achieve poverty reduction and sustainable development. Conflicts have severely stunted economic growth in many low-income countries and continue to be one of the leading causes of humanitarian crises. The conference did provide a platform for development scholars, practitioners and policy-makers to reflect on leading research on conflict and fragility as well as other topics in development economics that are related to the poverty-inequality nexus. It will consist of panel discussions, paper presentations and a debate. Due to the high demand for online formats, we have decided to hold a hybrid event, which included online sessions.
